I meant to post this yesterday but I completely ran out of time. And I actually forgot. What the hell, self.
In any case, I have been reading Adrienne Rich again, and it's her poetry that inspired this series in the first place, so I really shouldn't be surprised at how hard inspiration slammed into me. I wrote this right until 5am one night and I didn't sleep at all before work the next day. I hope it doesn't show. It's edited, I swear.
Betaed by databomb@dw, who is incredibly sweet to do this for me even though she doesn't know the fandom.
to move openly together, in the pull of gravity
Characters/Pairing: Viggo Mortensen/Sean Bean
Rating: NC-17
Words: 4705
Disclaimer: Didn’t really happen. Product of my imagination.
Summary: Ostensibly, Viggo rewards Sean for getting the role in the Devil’s Peak Trilogy. But really, this is just an exercise in trust. Part of the cartographies of silence universe, before Part 10.
( to move openly together, in the pull of gravity )
