Signs in which you might not be sane:

Bruce Wayne as Oda Nobunaga. The Brucie persona fits as the Fool of Owari. Gotham can be Japan. WhatamIdoing.

Clark Kent is NOT MORI RANMARU. I don't know who he is. The farmer's son it fits him well as Hideyoshi, but his entire demeanour is so bloody not Hideyoshi. He can't be Mitsuhide because that's possibly Dick- NO WAIT, DICK IS HIS MORI RANMARU, AND HIS NOUHIME IS TALIA, AND HIS KITSUNO IS SELINA.

The Joker can totally be his Imagawa.

... So who is Clark. Katsuie? OH GOD LOIS AS BRUCE'S SISTER.

How did this turn from plotting for a Clark/Bruce fic into Bruce-is-Oda-Nobunaga.

I am all for this, although my knowledge of the period is rusty! I have squandered my energy researching the Muromachi period instead, thanks also to Shogun of Steel, curse it. :)

I am obsessed beyond belief about Sengoku/Azuchi-Momomachi periods. One of my old fandoms is Sengoku Basara, which is entirely about that period up until the Battle of Sekigahara.

Also.

Clark as Ieyasu and Bruce as Mitsunari. ETERNAL RIVALS!!!!!! Or hell, Clark as Mitsunari and Bruce as his Otani - lovers fighting a doomed battle! Zod can be Ieyasu.
