You know that you're utterly obsessed with something when inspiration for a poem for it comes to you in the middle of an exam. It kept bugging me until I just had to write parts of it down just so I could complete the paper. I think that 13x5 is invading my brain. >>;
Oh, and this is the reason just why I don't write poems. Seriously.
Finding love in the midst of war,
Lovng the enemy.
For the sake of peace in the world,
I was forced to kill him.
They say Romeo and Juliet shared a tragic love,
I say they're luckier than we.
For Romeo never died by Juliets hand,
and they were joined in death.
A soul bond formed in midst of battles,
Clouds of rage dulling my senses.
I felt my heart shatter, and
tears cloud my vision.
Hopes breaking into pieces
as I watch his death, helpless.
Love admitted at the moment of death,
Whispering words I once needed to hear.
Now all it does is to crush,
the splinters of my shattered heart.
His spirits linger with me daily,
Haunting my thoughts and memories.
Safe in his arms in front of the fire,
Talking long into the night.
Joining the enemy for closure,
Seeing him in his daughter.
Trying to appease his spirit,
Trying to appease my guilt.
Now the world is in peace,
The war ended with his death.
The peace I had fought for is gained,
so why am I so empty?
How I wished to join him in death,
the Dragon is soulless without his Knight.
He wished me to live, this I know,
but it was such a bitter order.
All I am now is a soulless husk,
Speaking hollow words,
Giving blank gazes.
My dearest wish is to be back in his arms,
but it could never be granted.
I am certain that Wufei would never write something like this. Or at least this this bad. Arrrgh! -headdesk-

Poem's not that bad, actually, although I think Wufei would probably be a lot subtler and use more imagery and such. He strikes me as a metaphor kind of person.
