I will obsess about this and its perfect perfect writing and won't be able to concentrate on the fic I am supposed to be writing for weeks. So, I am keeping this comment in one paragraph (for now). Can I just say that I absolutely ADORE how you've written them here? I adore the banter, I adore the easy switching between seriousness and humour, I adore the affection, how comfortable they are around one another. It's lovely. (See? One paragraph. I can do that.
