(Yeah, that was a good, clean, and proper way to put it, wasn’t it?)

It says something about you when your voice of truth (the one in brackets) starts snarking at you.

He switched off his phone very calmly, and stood up from the couch, walking over to the wall.

I love the usage of ‘calmly’ here, because it either shows how much of a ritual this has become to him already, or how much he needs to believe that it has at least, so he won’t break. And that is left open until the arrival of David and Vincent, and there we have the breaking.

I thought you have a friend,” he made that word sound particularly obscene (or French), in inflection, grinning as if he made a particularly good joke, “to live with.”

Ahaha, I love Vincent.

I love this because Viggo registers this, even if he doesn’t comment on it, and even if it doesn’t cut his own drama short.
Did his friendship meant that little to Sean?

And there’s the doubt creeping in. And I am back to hurting.

Tomorrow. He would call Sean again tomorrow. That would be the last time he would call him.

I love the parallelism here. Both of them stuck, both of them wanting to move on but somehow unable to.
