Gaara woke up to Naruto sleeping in his bed. He blinked. There was something very wrong with that sentence.

Gaara woke up to Naruto sleeping in his bed.

When did he sleep?

When could he sleep?

And why was Naruto in his bed?

Gaara blinked again as a breeze came in through the window, and he felt chills at places that was usually (always) covered when he was asleep.

Gaara was naked. And... he looked at Naruto, gaze impassive and scrutinising. Naruto was also naked.

Obviously, the logical conclusion was that something had happened.

But what?

Taking a deep, calming breath (whatever for? he was calm, wasn't he?), he started to tabulate the facts.

One: He and Naruto are in bed together.

Two: They are both naked.

Three: Gaara's ass feels oddly sore.

There is only one conclusion. Gaara blinked.

Outside the door, the sand swirled. Sand began to creep inside the door through the crack at the bottom. Gaara clenched his fists, narrowing his eyes.

Naruto is going to die.

I suck. Kill me now, omg. Gaara-characterisation failure. Sorry!
